Emerging Trails was born out of a desire to help people and organizations navigate change and growth with confidence and purpose. After years in leadership roles, I saw firsthand:
- The challenges small-to mid-sized businesses face when balancing growth, people development, and operational pressures.
- How often individuals reach a point in their careers where clarity and action feel out of reach, and the right support system isn’t in place to help them move forward confidently.
My vision for Emerging Trails was to bridge both perspectives:
- Helping businesses thrive through stronger systems, teams, and leaders.
- Supporting individuals as they create a meaningful path toward professional growth, a pivotal career move, or a life decision.
My own professional path shaped this vision. Over nearly two decades, I had the opportunity to serve as both a people and discipline leader. I also worked under leaders of many styles, which broadened my view of what effective leadership really looks like. I learned how critical it is to develop people, not just processes, and how the two are most impactful when balanced together. I witnessed the transformation that happens when leaders invest in their people and themselves. Combining those lessons with the fulfillment I felt supporting others’ growth inspired me to become a Certified Professional Coach and to create Emerging Trails.
